Your visits to our farm are welcome. People drive by to see the llamas all of the time. We are located on eighty rolling acres in Ludington, MI. Our land is being developed as a wildlife habitat. It offers sufficient space for a leisurely one to two hour family hike. We currently own thirty-six llamas. We have an ample supply of trained llamas available to accommodate even large groups.
The ranch, which started as a hobby and passion for elk, has grown into a successful business. Our TB-free accredited herd resides on 130 acres. We raise our elk for breeding stock, velvet, quality meats and community education through public, private, and group tours.
HOW TO GET THERE: From Ludington, follow signs to Ludington State Park. Park in Beach Cafe' lot and walk north on beach 1.5 miles.
GIFT SHOP: The gift shop, located in the original 1867 keeper's quarters, offers lighthouse models, books, t-shirts, sweatshirts and other lighthouse related item.
Ludington State Park is comprised of nearly 5,300 acres of scenic sand dunes, shoreline vista, ponds, marshlands and forests. It is situated between Hamlin Lake and Lake Michigan with several miles of shoreline and beaches on both bodies of water. The Lighthouse is a 112 foot tower, one of the tallest on Lake Michigan. Built in 1867, it was the area’s first lighthouse and became fully automated in 1968.
Over 18 miles of hiking trails available. Eight different trail loops wind through woods and over dunes through the diverse ecosystems in the park. Lookingfor something to do in the winter? Enjoy the 16 mile cross country ski trail available.
At the end of Ludington Avenue is the area’s most photographed lighthouse. Thousands of visitors enjoy leisurely strolls down its long reakwall to enjoy the view and watch the carferry pass by.

We've been fishing out of this great location since 1978 and moved here in 1995 so we could fish even more. We will do all we can to make your trip enjoyable. Any size party up to 6. Families with children welcome (small children may not be able to handle most fish, we'll be happy to explain). We cater to the experienced and the not so. For large groups we can arrange multiple boats. Our baits are up to date complete with "tooth marks" . Our equipment is top notch and is state inspected, clean, with all the required safety equipment, rest room, spacious cabin and fish deck. Seating for up to 6.

Hidden in the Heart of the Manistee National Forest, the PINE RIVER PADDLESPORTS CENTER rents canoes, kayaks, and rubber rafts on the Pine and Big Manistee Rivers, Michigan’s premiere paddlesport rivers. PRPC is also home to the Wow Wall, a 32 foot tall, super-safe, automatic-belay rock climbing wall.
